On Board the Scenic Sapphire

It’s very swish on board! Two levels of restaurants - one the Crystal Dining Room and a more relaxed Diamond Lounge.

Our cabin is small, as expected, but we are learning to find where we have put things and have met our butler Kristianne and our cabin attendant - Antoaneta.

Our balcony is lovely, though up to now have been so busy there has not been much time to use it.

Upstairs is a beautiful way to take in the sights and quiet. Up to now I have only seen staff hanging out at the very rear. We plan to make the most of this deck soon, though it is a little chilly up there.

We are yet to try out the Vitality Pool on the top deck!

At the front of the ship is another undercover but open area for relaxing and taking in the views, which are ever changing and charming.

The food (at dinner especially) is amazing - lots of courses but thankfully small serves. Drinks are freely available all day and night, with new specialities of the region offered each meal, but you can request anything. A selection of teas and coffee is also easily accessible from the fancy coffee machine day and night.
I have made use of the gym on a few occasions when time permits and am looking forward to trying the salt room - sure to help with the sinuses.

  1. Wow, river cruising looks pretty good. Looks like you could nearly touch some of the buildings as you float by.
