Our last night onboard the Scenic Sapphire!

Our final afternoon onboard the Scenic Sapphire was spent packing whilst cruising past more of the spectacular south of France.

What a nightmare it is to know that for the next few weeks we will have to live out of a suitcase when we have got used to selecting clothes from those hanging comfortably in the wardrobe, and knowing the butler would happily iron two pieces a day for us.

For our final night we were invited to Table La Rive - a special table at the end of the ship, with a 7 or 8 course degustation menu paired with matched wines.

Unfortunately the ‘travel agents’ who joined us a week ago were also invited, which meant we were kicked off the official table, and added to a side table, with a couple we wouldn’t have chosen to dine with ourselves. If we had known this would be the case we would possibly have declined the invitation and enjoyed our final night with the friends we have made onboard. Nevertheless the food and level of service was a treat we enjoyed. Here are some of the dishes:
